1. Register.
2. Select Florida as your state.
3. Choose your class. The following Florida classes are available.
   • 16-hour continuing education: cosmetologist, nail technician, facial specialist, or full specialist -> $16.99
   • 4-hour HIV/AIDS: initial cosmetology licensure, out-of-state license by endorsement, license by examination, or reinstate a null and void license -> $14.99

4. Review the course book. There’s no timer. Take as much or as little time as you need.

5. Pass the “no-fail” test. Relax! It’s an easy, open book test. Unlimited test attempts ARE allowed. So no worries!

6. Receive your class certificate by email OR download it from your account page.

7. We report your class completion to the Florida Board of Cosmetology within 24 hours.*

*NOTE: Students taking the 4-Hour Initial HIV/AIDS class are responsible for sending their certificate to the DBPR.
